Season Passes, Programs and New Partners
Highlight OSS additions for 2008 Season

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (Feb. 28, 2008) – Orange Show Speedway announced today the additions of new partners to the family of sponsors as well as the return of the souvenir program to the speedway.

CEC Embroidery has agreed to be title sponsor of the ASA Street Stock division in 2008. The ‘CEC Embroidery Street Stocks’ will be again running an eight-race season at the ¼ mile high bank oval. Ruben Duran, owner of CEC, races in the division and wanted to show support for the drivers/families he enjoys interacting with on race day;

“This is one of the classic divisions in stock car racing. I really enjoy racing this division and have seen all the great things and progress OSS has made and wanted to support my division.”

Industrial Metal Supply Company is a full line metal service center and retailer serving Southern California and Arizona metal users since 1948. Now almost sixty years old, IMS services its customers from five branch locations that each offer will-call centers and large retail showrooms for same day service, as well as a fleet of 40 trucks providing next day delivery.

“Our customers consistently tell us that the personal, responsive service IMS offers is unlike any other in the business, and it’s what keeps them coming back year after year. We feel the staff at Orange Show Speedway have the same approach to their fans, drivers and business partners. We are looking forward to creating a long lasting relationship.”

Pick-A-Part Auto Recyclers has also re-joined the Orange Show Speedway family of sponsors again in 2008, providing support for the track and unique opportunity for the drivers who compete at OSS. As part of their 2008 agreement, drivers who are looking for parts at any of the existing locations (Monrovia, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ontario as well as a new location opening soon in Hesperia) will receive 20% off their purchase if they present their ASA Member Card with Valid ID.

ASA (American Speed Association) Member Track Program is the sanctioning body for OSS, supporting racing’s heart and soul, short track programs across the United States. For more information concerning ASA, including unprecedented insurance coverage to and from the track, visit www.asaracing.com

Ted Smith from Pick A Part is excited about working with the local track again in 2008:

“Hard working, blue collar America is our clientele at Pick A Part. We've support Motorsports in the area for almost 15 years and really look forward to renewing our relationship with the speedway. We hope this partnership helps out all the drivers so that we can look forward to more great racing in 2008.”

Joe Ganino, Director of Motorsports for Orange Show Speedway also announced the return of the souvenir program in 2008. The program will have a limited run to make sure its feasibility, but with a $50 ad campaign for advertisers and lucky stamp program that will direct fans to turn to specific ads to win prizes throughout the evening, Joe has no doubt it will be a success;

“I look at the dozens of programs that we display celebrating the speedway’s rich history. This will provide a means to bring back the program and scorecard for fans. We will update and provide rosters that include hometowns and sponsors to help support our drivers as well.”

Drivers and teams are also reminded to make sure and visit the speedway website or call the OSS offices in order to receive and fill out the appropriate registration forms for 2008.

Joe Ganino also announced Season Tickets will go on sale March 3, 2008 at the OSS offices. Adult Season tickets for the 2008 Race Season at OSS will be on sale for only $100.00. Additionally, a Child Season ticket (ages 6-12) will be available for only $25.00. Mr. Ganino understands the economy and strives to make sure families have a place to go as a family;

“This is a tough economic time for many families. By providing an affordable price point for race fans as well as allowing fans ability to bring in coolers again, we have created a fun, affordable, safe, exciting night of family entertainment. We are always looking for ways to introduce new fans to the speedway, but we can never forget the loyal fans who have stood by the speedway.”
